Muddling Through Together is a great labor of love, undertaken by a daughter in honor of her late mother.

The faith of Lee Haugen Long lives on through the writing she left behind, as well as through the countless people she inspired during her lifetime.

The Book

In 2000, Lee self-published a book of prayers, Muddling Through: Prayers and Reflections for a Woman’s Journey. A local Greenwood store did all the printing, and she sold copies through local bookstores. Lee started writing prayers for a second book.

On July 13, 2015, Lee ended her earthly journey and began her heavenly one. Her daughter Brita discovered the original floppy disk with the text for Muddling Through, plus a handful of typed and handwritten prayers, intended for a sequel left unfinished.

Muddling Through Again is not a full sequel, but rather an updated version of Lee’s original book of prayers. Brita compiled the new prayers with the original text to create this second edition.
